Cardiff Grange Harlequins
Leckwith Stadium

Whilst visiting Ninian Park for Wolves' game against Cardiff City, I popped over the road to Leckwith Stadium, home of Welsh Division One club Cardiff Grange Quin's. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get inside, but I did manage to take a few pictures through fencing on the outside.

Having been opened in 1989, the ground is only 17 years old, but should be knocked down in the near future if Cardiff City's plans for a new ground go through. It consists of one Main Stand, which is a single tier structure seating 2613, with the seats raised from ground level, giving a better view than the hard standing, which runs on the outside of the athletics track.

Whilst it is a fairly nice stand, as a football venue, it surely can't be a great place to watch a game from, with the pitch being a good distance away. There doesn't seem to have been any news of where Grange Quin's will play once the ground has been knocked down, but with any luck, they should end up with a facility more suited to football.
